That's true. They had to turn it generic desert planet sim but because that you can actually go there with furry characters not originally found from books. What I gathered they are building a kind of houses of commerce to Al Rakis and they are recruting people to organize trading "houses" there. The reward is free buildings depending the size of "house."

Splintered Rock was a Dune sim.. I remember there was a huge deal about NOT being able to use tha actual names from Dune blah blah blah.. But its still the same thing names or not XD

I've seen a NPC one running around the deep desert, but pics also show players using the grendels avis for them too. Not to mention a thumper item summons them

Dune is a series of novels by Frank Herbert, which depict a futuristic society of humans completely without advanced machines. Dune is the nick-name for the planet Arrakis, which houses a substance called, "spice". Spice is the most valuable commodity in the Dune universe, as society depends upon it. I recommend reading at least the first book or watching the movie.
